UN, Germany and France Condemn Ben Gvir Over Call for Nightly Gaza Killings

United Nations spokesman Stéphane Dujarric called Ben Gvir's remarks appalling, dehumanizing and dangerous, and said the UN condemns them unequivocally. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz strongly condemned what his deputy spokesman termed inhumane appeals violating international law, while Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil said the comments must have consequences and pressed the EU to weigh sanctions. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot called them intolerable and inhumane, saying that was why Paris had already sanctioned him. Ben Gvir had told a podcast that targeted eliminations of 30 or 40 should be carried out in Gaza nightly.
