50,000 Attend Second Western Wall Selichot With Captivity Survivors

About 50,000 people attended the second Selichot service at the Western Wall on Thursday night. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar joined captivity survivors Bar Kupershtein and Agam Berger, wounded IDF veterans, and other worshippers. More than 150,000 people have attended Selichot services at the site since Elul began the preceding week. Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, joined prayers for IDF soldiers and security forces, national unity, and Israel’s security; the next major service is scheduled for Saturday night at 12:15 a.m.
