Givati Troops Neutralize Terrorist Crossing Southern Gaza Yellow Line

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of helmeted Givati soldiers gathered around an armored engineering vehicle moving through dusty Gaza terrain, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue chalk and pastel strokes with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

Givati Brigade troops operating in southern Gaza identified a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line and approached them in a manner the IDF said posed an immediate threat. The troops fired and neutralized him. The military said Southern Command forces remain deployed under the agreement framework and will continue removing immediate threats. The IDF did not identify the terrorist, specify a more precise location or report any Israeli casualties in the announcement. The official statement was issued Friday evening after the incident.
