Tropper Says Last-Minute Alliances Are Likely Before Filing Deadline

Hili Tropper said last-minute political alliances are likely before candidate lists are filed, with roughly two weeks remaining until the deadline. He acknowledged that his party remains near the electoral threshold and said that position is insufficient if it wants to influence which government is formed. Tropper said Gadi Eisenkot and others had previously made attractive offers, but he chose his current path and is not now negotiating. Asked what he would do if the party still failed to cross the threshold in ten days, he said decisions would be made if necessary and predicted alliances of one kind or another.
