Larnaca Flight Delays Persist After Cyprus Storm Warning Ends

Larnaca Airport flights serving Tel Aviv remained delayed Saturday evening after Cyprus’s orange severe-thunderstorm warning expired at 19:00. Hermes Airports data showed Cyprus Airways flight CY0110, scheduled for 13:55, departing at 19:50, while TUS flight U80106, scheduled for 15:35, left at 20:00. The inbound CY0111 from Tel Aviv, scheduled for 16:55, was still marked delayed. Cyprus Civil Defence said the warning covered thunderstorms with 55–70 millimeters of rain per hour, hail and strong gusts; airport authorities had not formally attributed every disruption to the weather.
