Tal Ohana-Hachmon and Nir Hajbi Join Eisenkot’s Yashar Party

Yashar, led by Gadi Eisenkot, added former Yeruham council head Tal Ohana-Hachmon and reserve colonel Nir Hajbi to its Knesset slate less than two weeks before candidate lists close. Ohana-Hachmon has led local-government and regional-development work and chairs Organization 255, which supports hostage families. Hajbi, a 26-year Golani officer and IDF-disabled veteran from Kibbutz Kissufim, commanded reserve troops after his son Yonatan was murdered in the October 7 attack. Eisenkot said both would help place rehabilitation and development of the Negev and Gaza-border communities among Yashar’s priorities.
