The Health Ministry said another traveler who recently returned from the Democratic Republic of the Congo developed fever and other symptoms and is suspected of Ebola infection. The traveler is undergoing laboratory testing and will be transferred in isolation to Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital under protocols for high-risk infectious diseases. The ministry said results are expected in the coming days and stressed that no Ebola case has been confirmed in Israel. It is completing an epidemiological investigation to identify relevant contacts and said people not contacted by the ministry currently need to take no action.
