TA-35 and TA-125 Close More Than 1.3% Higher

Israel's TA-35 index closed Wednesday at 4,201.89, up 1.30%, while the TA-125 ended at 4,138.86, up 1.34%. The TA-35 traded between 4,139.89 and 4,214.59 on turnover of NIS 2.816 billion; the TA-125 ranged from 4,076.08 to 4,151.36 on NIS 3.834 billion. Both benchmarks finished above their opening levels of 4,148.22 and 4,084.12, respectively. Tower Semiconductor gained 4.29% and Nova rose 3.76%, while Israel Discount Bank advanced 3.11%, Bank Hapoalim 1.52%, and Bank Leumi 1.29% in Wednesday trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
