Israel Releases Four More Detainees to Lebanon Under Missing-Jews Deal

Israel transferred the remaining four Lebanese detainees to the ICRC at the Naqoura crossing Friday morning, completing a five-person release arranged through U.S.-mediated talks. Malek Ghazi, the first detainee, was handed to the Lebanese army on Thursday. Under the agreement, Lebanon will help efforts to locate the remains of Lebanese Jewish community leaders abducted and murdered by terrorist organizations during the 1980s civil war. ICRC vehicles were seen heading toward the crossing, and Hussein Ayash later told his brother by phone that he had been released and was with the ICRC.
