Israel Revises Second-Quarter Annualized GDP Growth Down to 14.9%

Israel's economy expanded at an annualized 14.9% in Q2 2026, down from the Central Bureau of Statistics' first estimate of 15.4%, while Q1 contraction was revised to 1.7% from 2.2%. Exports excluding startups and diamonds were revised to 16.6% growth from 25.2%, and machinery and equipment investment shifted to a 6.5% decline from an earlier 23.5% rise. Business-sector GDP increased 15.4%, private consumption 15.0%, and public consumption 22.2%. First-half GDP grew 3.5% against H2 2025, or 1.1% excluding overseas production by Israel-registered companies.
