Israeli hotel technology company HyperGuest has secured a $25 million investment from AMI, the mid-market arm of Apax, according to a Tuesday report that included comments from the company and investor. Chief executive Nir Yaron said the platform connects hotels directly with travel businesses and has handled more than $1 billion in cumulative transactions. HyperGuest said it employs about 160 people across 21 countries, roughly a quarter of them in Israel. The company plans to use the funding to expand internationally.
