The IDF said Monday evening that its troops, directed by Shin Bet, arrested the second attacker and another suspect involved in an attempted stabbing near Ramon in the Binyamin Brigade sector. The arrests followed a joint manhunt by security forces. Earlier in the afternoon, troops had responded to reports of a vehicle being set ablaze and two attackers, one of whom held a knife. According to the military, an Israeli civilian neutralized the knife-bearing attacker while troops reinforced the area and pursued the other. The evening announcement did not identify the detainees or give further details of their interrogation.
