Grenade Blast Damages Tel Aviv Residential Building; No Injuries Reported

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an archival Tel Aviv residential street intersection with parked cars, scooters, trees and apartment buildings; contextual scene, not the site of the reported grenade blast.

Police are investigating a fragmentation-grenade explosion at the entrance to a residential building on Asirei Zion Street in Tel Aviv. No injuries were reported, but property was damaged and residents were awakened by the blast. Officers from the Ayalon area of the Tel Aviv District attended the scene, where a bomb technician collected grenade remnants and investigators gathered evidence and testimony. The intended target and motive remain unknown. Police are also examining whether the explosion is connected to an earlier grenade incident in Holon; no connection has been established, and the investigation to identify those involved is continuing.
