Police Disclose NIS 4.4 Million Cash Seizure From Tamra Home

Police disclosed that officers seized more than NIS 4.4 million in cash during a July 22 search of a private home in Tamra in the Galilee. The haul included over NIS 1.4 million in shekels, euro banknotes worth more than NIS 2.4 million, and dollars worth more than NIS 600,000. The operation involved the Northern District, Northern Border Police and Lahav 433’s northern economic-enforcement unit. Investigators in Tamra and Lahav 433 are handling the case with the Israel Tax Authority’s Haifa and Northern investigations office.
