Three Arrested on Suspicion of Raping Minors in Northern Israel

Police arrested three suspects, two minors and one adult, on suspicion of raping several underage girls from northern Israel. The alleged assaults occurred last week at a social gathering in an apartment in the Jezreel Valley area, where the girls met suspects they already knew. The girls later filed formal complaints, and investigators at Afula station took the three into custody Tuesday. The investigation is at an early stage; police were expected to ask a judge Wednesday to extend the suspects' detention while additional investigative steps continue.
