Firefighters Contain Safed Blaze After Two People Suffer Light Injuries

Firefighters, assisted by the Elad aerial firefighting squadron, brought a blaze in Safed's Nof Kinneret neighborhood under control Wednesday. Crews stopped the flames from spreading toward nearby homes and continued extinguishing the remaining hotspots after containment was achieved. Two people who suffered light injuries were evacuated from the area for medical care. The initial report did not identify the injured people, state the cause of the fire or provide a final estimate of the area burned.
