Magen David Adom said its Negev dispatch center received a report at 18:14 that a heavy object had fallen on a man near Ar'ara in the Negev. Paramedics treated the roughly 50-year-old man and evacuated him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. He was listed in moderate condition with multisystem trauma. The initial notices did not identify the object, explain how it fell or say whether the incident occurred at a home, worksite or another location. They listed no other patients and did not describe what happened before the object fell.
