Police reported Thursday that four IDF fragmentation grenades and additional weapons materiel had been found inside a sewer chamber in Zarzir, in the Lower Galilee. Officers raided a home in the town on Tuesday after receiving information that illegal weapons were being held there, according to the police account. A 20-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the search. His detention was extended until Friday, October 9; the report did not specify what the additional weapons materiel consisted of.
