Police Report Seizing Over NIS 1 Million in Suspected Stolen Gold

Israel Police disclosed the arrest of a Kiryat Yam resident after detectives found jewelry and gold articles suspected to be stolen, with an estimated value of over NIS 1 million. Zevulun station detectives raided an apartment and a business associated with the woman in Kiryat Yam and Kiryat Bialik while investigating suspected money laundering and possession of stolen property. Officers also seized cash in Israeli and foreign currencies, checks and communications devices suspected of being connected to criminal activity. The woman was questioned at Zevulun station and remained in custody afterward.
