Honenu Says Two Samaria Security Personnel Arrested for Shin Bet Questioning

Honenu said two security personnel from Samaria were arrested on Sunday morning and transferred for questioning by the Shin Bet. The legal aid organization said the detainees were prevented from meeting a lawyer and that one of them belongs to a bereaved family. Attorney Nati Rom, representing Honenu, filed an urgent appeal at Lod District Court seeking to lift the restriction on access to legal counsel. A hearing was scheduled for 2 p.m. at Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court; the detainees’ names have not been disclosed.
