Police Arrest Al-Eizariya Resident Suspected of Planning an Imminent Attack

Police arrested an Al-Eizariya resident in his twenties after receiving a report that he had expressed an intention to carry out an imminent attack. Officers from Ma’ale Adumim station and Border Police officers serving the Jerusalem perimeter set up roadblocks, searched for him and detained him in his village. A search of his belongings uncovered a knife and a glass cup containing nails and paper, which police suspect he intended to throw and ignite. He was questioned at Ma’ale Adumim station and then jailed. The case was assigned to the counterterrorism unit of the Judea and Samaria district’s central investigations unit.
