Delta Flight From New York to Israel Held After Another Bomb Threat

A Delta flight scheduled to leave New York for Israel was held for security checks on Tuesday evening after a further anonymous report of a bomb aboard. The new alert concerned an aircraft preparing to depart for Israel, following a separate bomb report involving a Delta flight earlier that day. Departure clearance was being withheld while American security authorities carried out additional checks. The reported process also required approval from Israeli security officials and the Transport Ministry before the flight could leave New York.
