Firefighters Contain Aminach Factory Blaze That Threatened Hazardous-Material Stores

Firefighters contained a large blaze at Aminach’s mattress factory in Nir Tzvi, near Lod and Ramle, after it broke out overnight on October 13–14. Crews from the Central District fought the fire for hours as it threatened neighboring buildings and facilities storing hazardous materials. They prevented the flames from spreading beyond the burning area to those surrounding sites. No casualties were reported, and firefighters were still carrying out final extinguishing and cooling operations when the containment was reported on Wednesday morning.
