A fire in a seven-story residential building under renovation on HaDror Street in Kiryat Ono left six households unable to return overnight. Firefighters evacuated dozens of residents, searched apartments and common areas, ventilated the stairwell and brought the blaze under control. Municipal welfare teams assisted about 30 residents gathered in a nearby public garden. Six apartments along the southern facade on floors one through three remained off-limits pending checks, while a city engineer assessed a localized risk of falling facade stones and officials helped affected families arrange alternative lodging.
