PMO Says Abu Falah Inquiry Must Establish Facts, Rejects Smearing Jewish Residents

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Friday that the confrontation near Abu Falah involving photojournalist Heidi Levine remained under investigation and that its circumstances were unclear. The office condemned violence against anyone, including Jews, Arabs, Christians and journalists, and said those responsible would be held accountable. It said investigators must establish what happened, including who initiated the violence, while describing competing accounts of the incident. The office also warned against using disputed events to cast blame on hundreds of thousands of law-abiding Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.
