Sakemli Developer Reports 30,000 Users for Free Israeli Budget App

Israeli developer Shahar Bador says his free budgeting app, Sakemli, now has more than 30,000 users. In an October 17 interview, he said he had added more than 35 features over the past year and a half and now uses Claude agents for development, testing and responding to user requests. The app offers shared budgets, an AI assistant, bank and card data imports, and automatic recording of Apple Pay transactions. Bador said it currently earns no revenue and costs him several hundred shekels a month to operate; he intends to keep it free and says user information will not be sold.
