Government Extends Al Jazeera and Al Mayadeen Closures in Israel by Three Months

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi said the government approved extending the closure of Al Jazeera and Al Mayadeen in Israel for another three months. In an announcement published on October 18, he said the decision was taken that morning at what he described as the government's final meeting before the election. Karhi said the extension continued decisions taken consistently over the previous three years.
