May Golan Expected to Attend Police Questioning This Week in Corruption Case

Social Equality and Advancement of Women Minister May Golan is expected to attend questioning at Lahav 433 this week as part of a corruption investigation. Police and her lawyers are coordinating her appearance, with defense lawyer Amit Hadad involved in the arrangements. The investigation concerns suspected bribery, fraud and breach of trust. The case has already been sent to prosecutors, who requested further questioning so Golan could give her account. Golan denies the allegations, and her office says she instructed her lawyers about a month ago to arrange an appearance and rebut them.
