Religious Services Ministry Plans NIS 2 Million Mikveh for Ein Bokek Hotels

The Religious Services Ministry is leading and funding a planned mikveh in the Ein Bokek hotel complex on the Dead Sea, with an estimated investment of NIS 2 million. The project is to be developed and operated with Tamar Regional Council for religious and traditionally observant visitors who maintain Jewish family-purity practices while travelling. Plans include ritual-bath provisions accommodating different halachic customs, alongside attention to convenience and architectural design. Ministry director-general Yehuda Avidan, council head Nir Wenger and regional rabbi Meir Elmalich took part in a cornerstone ceremony for the project.
