Road 437 Expansion Now Expected to Open in Early 2028, a Year Ahead of Schedule

Work on the Road 437 expansion has accelerated, with opening now expected in early 2028, a year earlier than previously planned. The route connects Jerusalem's Pisgat Ze'ev area with Sha'ar Binyamin through the Adam area. The Transport Ministry's earlier project description specifies two general traffic lanes and a dedicated public-transport lane in each direction, with Moriah carrying out the work. The expanded corridor is intended to ease congestion for journeys between Jerusalem and Binyamin communities; the revised timetable remains a projection while construction continues.
