Urich Reportedly Told Investigators Qatar Work Continued Into 2024

Jonatan Urich, an adviser to Benjamin Netanyahu, reportedly told Lahav 433 investigators that his work with Qatari figures continued after October 7, 2023. He estimated that it ended in mid-to-late 2024 after Srulik Einhorn told him the project was over. Urich put his payments at hundreds of thousands of shekels without specifying an exact amount. Asked whether Netanyahu knew, he said he had not reported his outside activities to the prime minister and maintained that an outside adviser was not required to disclose them. Urich denied wrongdoing and disputed investigators’ characterization of his work as advancing Qatari interests.
