Alzaim Tahini Recalled After Salmonella Found in Lab Tests

Alzaim Tahini announced a recall after laboratory tests detected Salmonella in its tahini, according to Israel's Health Ministry. The recall covers every marketed package size with production dates up to and including October 1, 2026, and expiry dates up to and including October 1, 2027; packages also carry the name Tahina Shel Pa’am. The ministry said a Northern District Food Service inspection found the products had entered Israel and been marketed contrary to legal requirements. Consumers are asked not to eat the affected products, which the marketer is collecting from distribution channels in coordination with the ministry.
