Arkia Suspends Marrakech Ticket Sales Following Israeli Security Instructions

Arkia has stopped selling tickets to Marrakech until further notice, following instructions from Israeli security authorities, the airline said on October 21. It said it was maintaining contact with the relevant authorities and security officials over the route’s continuation. The implications of the instructions for flights on the route whose tickets have already been sold remain under examination. If Israeli authorities decide to halt Israeli airlines’ flights to Marrakech, Arkia said it is examining possible alternatives, including operating through commercial partners.
