El Al Details February 2027 Start for Starlink Installation

El Al plans to begin installing Starlink internet on its aircraft in February 2027, according to innovation and marketing data chief Efi Gotsman. Aircraft currently without internet, including those serving Sun d’Or flights, are due to be equipped by the end of 2027. The airline plans to replace existing Viasat systems between early and mid-2028, using its own maintenance personnel for installation. Gotsman said access would be free for frequent-flyer club members, with the same service across cabin classes and no tiered packages.
