Staff Sgt. Ron Yonatan Roytman and Sgt. Yuval Shai Svilem fell in combat at Judea Junction in the Judea Brigade's sector, the IDF announced after notifying their families. Roytman, 23, from Ashkelon, served as a squad commander in Ari Battalion (775) of the Rescue Brigade. Svilem, 20, from Hod Hasharon, was a soldier in the same battalion. The announcement cleared both soldiers' names for publication.
