Netanyahu Orders Preparations for Full Judea and Samaria Closure

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he instructed the IDF and security forces to prepare for a full closure throughout Judea and Samaria starting October 23, alongside an immediate cordon on Hebron. He announced the instructions after a security assessment with the defense minister and senior military, intelligence and national security officials. Netanyahu said reinforced forces were conducting counterterrorism operations and broad arrest sweeps. He praised troops for preventing a larger attack, wished the wounded a speedy recovery and said Israel would pursue Hamas terrorists and those directing them.
