Zvi Sukkot Says Hebron Should Face the Same Fate as Rafah

Zvi Sukkot said on October 23 that Hebron should face the same fate as Rafah, drawing a comparison between Hamas in the two cities. In a Hebrew post, he asserted that Hamas in both places seeks Israel’s destruction. He did not spell out measures or a timetable in the statement. Separately, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after a security assessment that Hamas terrorists appeared to have planned a major attack and that he had ordered an immediate cordon around Hebron and further counterterrorism steps.
