Italy Confirms Return of Five Citizens Detained in Judea and Samaria

Italy’s Foreign Ministry confirmed on October 24 that five Italian citizens previously detained in Judea and Samaria had returned to Italy that morning. Officials from Italy’s embassy in Tel Aviv had visited the five women at the airport the previous evening and found them in good physical condition. While a consular official was present at the airport facility, the women were allowed to use their mobile phones. Each of the five spoke with her lawyer at least once during that visit.
