IDF Reports Around 100 Protected Olive-Harvest Sites in Judea and Samaria

The IDF said on October 25 that security forces have protected around 100 coordinated olive-harvesting sites across Judea and Samaria. Its latest estimates put the area harvested at approximately 220,000 dunams and the olive crop at around 22,500 tons. The military said the vast majority of protected, coordinated harvesting operations are proceeding as planned, without unusual incidents. It reported reinforcing Central Command with the 98th Division Headquarters, a Paratroopers Brigade task-force headquarters, a regular battalion and Border Police companies. The IDF described their missions as protecting the harvest and civilians while preventing friction, violence and terrorism.
