IDF and Shin Bet Say They Detained Suspect Planning Imminent Attack

The IDF and Shin Bet said on October 25 that Israeli troops had detained a suspect whom they accused of planning an imminent terrorist attack. According to their joint announcement, the detention took place earlier Sunday in the Binyamin Brigade's area of Judea and Samaria. The agencies said precise intelligence from the Shin Bet indicated that the planned attack would take place along a major road. They said the suspect had been handed over to security forces for further questioning.
