JGive Reports NIS 150 Million in Public-Company Share Donations Over Three Years

JGive says donations of shares in publicly traded companies through its platform totaled about NIS 150 million over the past three years, as stock-based giving expanded in Israel. Figures reported on October 28 show a 30-fold increase in this form of donation between 2023 and 2025. Among the donors identified for 2026 is Nachman Benshaya, a senior figure at NextVision, who donated shares worth approximately NIS 10 million. That followed a donation of a similar size the previous year. Avraham Fox, one of the owners of Fox Group, donated about NIS 2.5 million. The figures were supplied by JGive, whose chief executive is Ori Ben-Shlomo. About one-quarter of the donations involve shares in technology companies, with Nvidia, Apple and Google among the examples cited. More than half of the donors have made more than one donation. By the end of the third quarter of 2026, the value of stock donations had already matched the total recorded for all of 2025. The number of share donations in August and September was three times the number in the corresponding two-month period a year earlier.
