Shay Gal to Discuss Leadership at Rehovot’s Beit Yad Labanim

Shay Gal will give a lecture on leadership at Rehovot’s Beit Yad Labanim on Sunday, November 1. The session, titled “Anatomy of Leadership,” is part of the venue’s “Sunday Morning” program. The lecture is scheduled for 10:00, with participants gathering from 09:30 for light refreshments before the talk begins. Gal is a filmmaker and journalist whose career includes work as a Channel 12 correspondent. The event description also identifies him as an Emmy nominee. His presentation draws on encounters from 20 years of filmmaking and television reporting, using those experiences to explore the people who step forward when circumstances require initiative and responsibility. The lecture’s stated theme is how ordinary people become leaders. It examines leadership through situations in which individuals take responsibility, challenging the idea that the ability to lead belongs only to a small group born with it. Gal’s professional encounters, gathered over two decades in film and television, provide the basis for that discussion. Admission is NIS 45. The announcement includes a ticket-purchase link and lists 08-9390390 for inquiries about the event. The November 1 session will take place at Beit Yad Labanim in Rehovot.
