Anna Aronov Revealed as Sacred Cow on The Masked Singer

Dancer and television judge Anna Aronov was revealed as the performer inside the Sacred Cow costume on Israel’s The Masked Singer on November 1. The reveal ended her participation in the competition and brought a familiar face from a different television talent show onto its stage. Aronov is a judge on Dancing with the Stars, where her usual role involves assessing other performers. This appearance instead placed her behind a mask as a singing contestant. The panel’s guesses did not identify her: names suggested for the character included Rina Matzliach, Agam Rodberg, Maggie Azarzar and Yael Polyakov. The reveal came during an emotional evening that included tears. The programme’s explanation of the character’s clues linked several details to Aronov’s career. A gold necklace pointed to her work representing the Impress jewellery brand. A football reference recalled her partnership with Haim Revivo in the second season of Dancing with the Stars, while a microphone alluded to her place at the judges’ table. A reference to standing straight was connected to her teaching in a dance studio. Other clues drew on activities outside that programme. Red wine referred to Vega, the north Tel Aviv wine bar she owns with her partner. A mention of Haim Etgar concerned a Make-A-Wish fundraising broadcast they hosted. Curry, coconut and pineapple pointed to her participation in Survivor, which was filmed in Thailand.
