GrowthCurve to Acquire Controlling Stake in TailorMed

American private equity firm GrowthCurve Capital is acquiring a controlling stake in TailorMed, an Israeli digital health company, in a transaction disclosed on November 2. The backing is intended to support the company’s next stage of expansion, including additional services and artificial intelligence capabilities for its medication platform. The platform focuses on access to medication, affordability and adherence to treatment. Its services connect patients with financial assistance and other support, including help obtaining insurance and staying on therapy. Srulik Dvorsky, TailorMed’s CEO and co-founder, said the business had begun by addressing affordability and was expanding across the medication lifecycle. “The acquirer sees us as having the potential to establish an entirely new category,” he said. TailorMed reported a network spanning more than 950 hospitals, 4,700 clinics and 3,100 pharmacies, alongside more than 100 pharmaceutical company programs and 6,000 support programs. The company said it had reached over 75 million patients and secured more than $7.4 billion in financial assistance since 2020. That figure describes assistance obtained for patients, rather than TailorMed’s revenue or the value of the investment. Dvorsky said the company intends to add further capabilities through internal development or acquisitions. TailorMed employs around 120 people, including roughly 50 in Israel, and employees are expected to remain in their roles following completion of the transaction. Most existing shareholders are expected to sell their holdings.
