Or Nir Named Spokesperson for Israel’s Eurovision 2027 Delegation

Kan announced on Sunday, November 8, that Or Nir has been appointed spokesperson for Israel’s delegation to Eurovision 2027. He will be responsible for the delegation’s spokesperson work, public relations and media activity, working with both Israeli and international media ahead of the contest. Nir will report to Adva Galanti, the acting head of Kan’s spokesperson division. The appointment follows two years in which he served as a senior communications adviser and a member of the Israeli delegation. His new role places the delegation’s media activity under a spokesperson who has already worked on its two most recent Eurovision campaigns. At the 2026 contest in Vienna, Nir managed the Israeli delegation’s international public relations. Israel’s representative, Noam Bettan, finished second with “Michelle.” In 2025, when the contest took place in Basel, Nir handled public relations for Teddy Productions alongside international strategic advice. Yuval Raphael represented Israel that year and also finished second, performing “New Day Will Rise.” The next Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled for May 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria. Kan plans to carry the competition on Kan 11 and Kan BOX. Sunday’s announcement concerns the delegation’s communications team as preparations continue for that contest.
