beIN Reportedly Pledges to Name Israel's Anan Khalaili in Match Commentary

beIN Sports representatives reportedly agreed to mention Israel and Crystal Palace defender Anan Khalaili normally in commentary from Sunday's match against Brighton. Israel Football Association executive member Ahmed Abu al-Am raised the issue in a meeting with the network's representatives in Ramallah in recent days. The complaint concerned commentators avoiding the player's name and failing to acknowledge his involvement in play. The reported commitment followed an examination of the matter in which the representatives learned that Khalaili is an Arab Muslim; it concerns the upcoming broadcast and does not confirm that the practice has already changed.
