Israel Confirms Next Star Will Select Its Eurovision 2027 Representative

KAN and Keshet 12 confirmed that Israel will participate in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in Bulgaria and will again choose its representative through The Next Star for Eurovision. The new season will air this fall, with KAN representatives taking part in the semifinal and final stages alongside Keshet and Tedy Productions. The partnership follows three consecutive Israeli top-five finishes, including runner-up results in 2025 and 2026. KAN said the arrangement will reduce the public broadcaster's expenses, while the song will be chosen separately through an anonymous submission process designed to give eligible writers an equal opportunity.
