Anan Khalaili Set for Record €28 Million Crystal Palace Move

Israel international Anan Khalaili is on the verge of joining Crystal Palace from Belgian club Union SG, according to reports citing his representatives. The Premier League club is expected to pay €28 million, about $32.5 million, which would make the 21-year-old winger the most expensive Israeli football transfer. The Haifa-born player has made 16 appearances for Israel and would become the only Israeli currently in the Premier League. His planned move follows the collapse of a proposed Inter Milan transfer after an Italian medical review last month.
