Thomas Massie
@RepThomasMassie · High-reach critics & hostile narrative — US/West
Thomas Massie is a Kentucky congressman whose isolationist opposition to Israel aid comes from the right.
Congress did one and only one thing today. The House passed a bill to withhold money from universities if they don’t play nice with Israel. I voted No. It’s not proper for our federal government to coerce universities into engaging with any particular foreign country. https://t.co/KEeVafTwAd
Good commentary on my race by @takenaps. Neither of the lobbying organizations bragging about taking me out are saying I was bad for Kentucky or America. They’re saying they did it because I wouldn’t send your money to Israel. Take them at their word. https://t.co/WBJdDbNPxb
It’s disingenuous and harmful to equate the Zionist lobby in D.C. with all Jewish people. While it’s true RJC/AIPAC donors get a lot of credit for defeating me, I still harbor no ill feelings toward any race religion or ethnicity. I’m the least xenophobic Republican in Congress.
Today, we have been at War with Iran for SIX MONTHS. The 1973 War Powers Act required Trump to withdraw forces within 90 days absent authorization from Congress. They ridiculously claimed to stop the war & restart new hostilities @ 91 days. We are past 180 days. End the War.
Trump’s getting roasted today for his disastrous beef policy, the debt hit $40 trillion because of his “big beautiful bill,” he stepped-in-it in Iran, and he’s weeks away from failing his mid-terms in November. He posted this because we are the three he should have listened to: https://t.co/GoxliVn4U4
Let’s be honest, you’re paying $4/gallon for Israel.
