U.S.-Israel War With Iran Reaches Six-Month Mark

Israel and the United States reached six months since they opened their joint campaign against Iran at 08:10 Israel time on February 28. Israel named its operation Roaring Lion, while Washington called its campaign Epic Fury; the opening day involved about 200 Israeli aircraft dropping more than 550 munitions on over 500 targets, according to the IDF. The campaign targeted Iranian nuclear, ballistic-missile, military and government sites. Iran’s government has survived, and AP reports Tehran continues to wield leverage through the Strait of Hormuz as the United States tightens its blockade and threatens further sanctions.
